Easy Dry Rub Spicy Grilled Tuna image

A quick and easy dry rubbed spicy grilled tuna suitable for any Trim Healthy Mama fuel type. Make it as spicy (or not) as you like! This flavorful rub is also good for any meat. Low carb, gluten free and sugar free.

1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup onion powder
1 tablespoon PLUS 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon PLUS 3/4 teaspoon mineral salt
2 "doonks" (1/16 teaspoon) THM Pure Stevia Extract

Steps:

  • Making sure each portion of tuna is patted dry, evenly sprinkle and rub the dry rub over all surfaces of the fish
  • Make sure your grill is sufficiently hot (see this post for helpful tips), clean, and spray with cooking spray for a low fat THM E or FP meal.
  • Grill until done to your liking. For a 3/4" thick portion of tuna approximately 3 minutes on each side for well done.

1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce

4 tuna steaks (1 inch thick and 6 ounces each)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl of shallow dish, combine the first six ingredients. Add tuna and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 15 minutes., Drain tuna, discarding marinade.
