- In a medium bowl, mix braunschweiger liver sausage, cream cheese, onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Form into a ball shape. Wrap with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator at least 1 hour before serving.

- DIRECTIONS Place the cream cheese, liverwurst, cheese, and spices in a food processor. Pulse to combine. Spread out plastic wrap and place the cheese mixture on the plastic, cover and form it into a ball. Place the cheese ball into the refrigerator and let it chill until firm 1-2 hours. Place the bacon and nuts on parchment paper. Roll the cheese ball in the bacon, and nuts, if using, until covered. Serve with your favorite crackers.
CREAMY BRAUNSCHWEIGER DIP
Jones braunschweiger is great spread on bread and crackers. Make it even better by creating a dip.

A local supper club used to serve a cheddar cheese spread and this liverwurst spread with crackers in the bar area while you were waiting for your table. It is my all time favorite snack for sitting around watching TV. I could eat the entire recipe myself!

- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage and onion until meat is no longer pink; remove with a slotted spoon and set aside. In the drippings, cook chicken livers over medium heat for 6-8 minutes or until no longer pink. Drain; cool for 10 minutes., Place chicken livers, milk and mustard in a blender or food processor; cover and process. Add sausage mixture, cream cheese and seasonings; cover and process until nearly smooth. , Pour into a 3-cup serving bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight. Serve with crackers.
